Falling is a leading cause of injury among adults aged 65 years and older. These injurious events can lead to a loss of mobility that limits physical activity, and contribute significantly to feelings of loneliness and isolation. When older adults can no longer engage in the activities they love, they often feel disconnected and alone.
At Nymbl, one of our goals is to address social isolation and loneliness as key social determinants of health (SDoH) factors. By improving balance and mobility through our evidence-based program, we help older adults maintain or regain the confidence and physical ability to participate in the activities they enjoy. This not only enhances their physical health but also fosters social connections and emotional well-being.
Falls are preventable. Studies show that older adults who have fallen can reduce their risk for future falls. At Nymbl, we're utilizing balance and bladder training to tackle social isolation head-on - with programs designed specifically to empower older adults' confidence in their balance and mobility.
By addressing social isolation through improved mobility (reducing fall risk), Medicare Advantage (MA) plans have the potential to drive desired health outcomes for their members and increase member satisfaction and retention. Reducing loneliness can lead to higher satisfaction scores.
Join Nymbl in our mission to tear down the physical and emotional barriers of aging and help older adults move more confidently.

In a recent report from AARP, it's clear that older adults are not just catching up with technology—they're embracing it. The report reveals a significant shift in attitudes towards technology among individuals ages 50+, signaling a new era of tech-savviness in this demographic.
On the flip side, nearly two-thirds (64%) of adults ages 50+ feel that today’s technology isn’t tailored to their needs, according to the same AARP report.
